We left as it was hitting and avoided most of the bad weather. Coming back we had to dig our way into the house but the streets were fine.

Going shopping for a 5 liter jerrycan of organic olive oil in my everyday Akubra Jackaroo. Great hat!

The Chinese Lunar New Year(Black Water Snake)

Looking for props and scouting locations for Ryan's film on Saturday, the eve of the Chinese Lunar New Year. 1940s Royal Hat Works.

This 120 year old building has possibilities.

Narrow, old staircase will be perfect for several scenes.

Winter Storm Orko paid Minnesota a visit on Sunday, the first day of the Chinese New Year.

OPTIMO Natural Beaver Belly, my most frequently worn felt hat, to welcome in the New Year.

Attending a New Years celebration at the University Of Minnesota.

Picking up some pie before heading home, and marveling at the size of the snow flakes.

Gluttons for punishment... activities mean't for MUCH younger participants. We had the BEST time. Not a fedora, but the only hat of its kind on the slops, err, slopEs.

Thanks. The high winds are headed in our direction (aren't they always?). The Dobbs might have to spend the night in the office.

AL, that Optimo is so well suited to its owner... I always enjoy seeing it.

Really great hats fellas.

Iain, great lid.

Alan, the man of a thousand hats! You always impress.

AL....Insane shots and great hats as usual.

My current "vintage flip phone" photos are tiny and hardly worth showing so...

Not what I'm wearing today but here's me in Oregon sampling a bit of their local wine...
Looks like we were close to King Estate where we had dinner on the patio overlooking the
largest and most beautiful wine estate in the Willamette Valley. And they're Organic!
In my old Portis. I'm not an expert but an OR clone I'd guess?
