Today it was my Biltmore Porkpie Milan, in Pumice Gray colour (modern, non vintage). You can see a more detailed image in the "Show your porkpies" thread.

BTW, this is my first photo here with me under a lid... ;)

My partenaire is my daughter Laura - she is enthusiastic about this hat, it is her favourite, and the one she selects for me if given the choice. She calls it, not inappropriately, "the blue hat".

Daniel

I have read somewhere that a hat should mach your facial features. Is my little fedora look ok on my mug ?or should I try a different style?wider brim?

"Does my fedora make my a** look big?"

Seriously, though, I think the brim is probably not the issue but rather the crown. I would recommend wearing a less tapered, more full, boxy crown shape. I think that would suit you great.

It's hard to tell from the little avatar photo, but that looks fine. I like that, because of the rig behind you, this popped into my head:

I'm calling it my Dobbs "Lounger" because I have the Lounge Pin on it, and it's a totally different crease, also a ribbon designed by myself as well. :D

I wore my Johnnyphi Adam Royal to a local watering hole this evening to meet some friends.

Needless to say, mine was the only fedora amongst all the baseball caps. I did hear "Nice hat" a couple of times, and one guy wanted to buy my hat for $20. When I told how much it would take, he lost interest, but he came back later and asked to buy it again. lol lol

Hi,

Not "today", actually last weekend, but I had the photos unloaded today.

I premièred this Borsalino linen newsboy cap in the family trip to Disneyworld Paris.

Here I am posing with the Nautilus in the foreground, at the Discovery Land area.

And here with family in a vintage car parked in Main Street area. Note I have switched the cap to "speed" mode ;)

By the way, it rained about half the time, and the cap provided good cover. As an anecdote: out of necessity, we had to buy the standard Disneyland yellow rain cape, but I was able to discard the hood and so be reconigzable by my distinctive headgear, among hundreds of other people wearing the same cape... sort of a beacon for the family!

On the negative side, the cap seems to have shrunk because of the rain- I would swear it feels more snug now.

Regards,

Daniel

Love that Peters Brothers, especially the color and the tall crown. And I want to visit where you're at in the picture too! Looks peaceful.
