I bought the Stratoliner in July,my wife and myself were down in Lancaster County Pa. doing some antique shopping,my goal was to pick up a nice railroad watch but did not see one I liked, the last night we went to an antique mall in Gap Pa. and there it was sitting on a shelf, judging by the high prices of most everything I figured this has to be at least 100.00.Nope turned it over and $14.95!Well needless to say I did not come home empty handed....

My new Open Road 20X from Paris Hatters. Man that thing is nice and soft. Absolutly no problem in snapping the brim down. I have a 4X I got last fall and that thing is stiff as a board and the only way to snap the brim is to wet or steam it to a permanent position. The liner on th 20X is brown vs white on the 4X and the sweatband seems thicker and softer. The felt looking very close seems to have a finer texture, other than that externally they look the same.

Yesterday, heading out for a dawn drive to a Rochester meeting. Kudos to DJH for his early morning photos... not an easy task!

Stetson 7XCB. Snapped an afternoon potty picture with my eyes a little wider open. ;)

Great morning show, all!
+1 on a really nice overall ensemble today, Alan. Say hello to my old Rochester stomping grounds for me!

Navy is a color I don't often wear, so tried a few lids with it this morning: greys, beiges, etc., but settled on the ole Falcon Park black cherry!

Morning pics after dog walk, cleaning the drifted stuff from under the dock and leaf chores.

My hat waits safely on a chair on shore as the dogs fetch dummies in the water.
