Jared, I'm diggin' that bodacious brim! (I delivered flowers as one of my many college-era jobs. Only remaining memory is some guy apologizing to his wife for who-knows-what by having a dozen roses show up every 30 minutes for SIX HOURS! I got to know her a bit by the end.)

Thanks Randall! Actually, I'm a third generation florist, my grandfather started our family business in 1942 when he took over a nursery from a Japanese family that had to leave for the internment camps. When they returned after the war, my grandfather handed the keys back and started the shop I still work in.

That's funny! When I bought flowers without an occasion, my wife used to say "So, what did you do?".

.....I would reply that I like flowers too.

Tom, Che, AnA - very cool guys!

I seem to only be out and about after dark these days.

Not today's photo, but this is what I've been wearing for the past few days. WPG's reproduction 1911 campaign hat.

Cheers!

Dan

what are the 3 rows of stitching for on the campaign hat? I've seen that on several of them and not sure if it had a function above decoration. I'm torn, I've thought about bending the brim on mine down in the front, but I kinda like that flat as a board look, the problem is you have to have it ride high on your head, so it looks like it's parallel to the ground.

Akubra Campdraft

In the corn maze

I've always considered the campdraft to be a country gentlemen's hat, but it looks right at home in the cornfield w/ a flannel shirt (but I'm not implying that you're not a gentlemen :) )

Great hats on the lounge today.

We've spent the latter half of Felt Hat day in the city of John B Stetson Co, getting Amelia back to school at Drexel.

Both hats I brought along were made here in Philadelphia, this one a Stratoliner. .

another great strat, you guys are killing me!
