David; Al is correct a signature hat on you.

CaseHopper; The cap looks comfortable on your noggin. Caps are flattering. They are not flattering to all.

Keep the pics coming folks, Eric -

Very nice Alan. Great pic and you look sharp. In fact you always look distinguished and sharp. For comparision; When I put on a boater I look as if I am wearing my wifes fancy table pie basket.

Thanks for the sharing your pretty terrace.

Eric -

Eric, I totally think you could pull it off. Thank you for the kind comments, my friend.

Al, Alan, Eric - thanks for the TumH2O comments. Tony makes some very nice hats.

As the others have said, you pull the boater look off very well, Alan.

Nice cap, CC.

My Olive coloured Cavanagh for me this morning.

Up early and about in my Stetson Playboy. Alan's recent posting of his stately Dobbs reminded me of the great wearing Playboy. The hat in my pic (below) is linerless and truly lightweight. It is pefectly suited to this mornings 65-70'F humid weather. The gray felt with a snazzy ribbon is just a fun hat to wear. The Playboys, Bon Vivants, get worn often. I wish hats like this were available today.

This morning the dogs and I had to acknowledge that Fall is almost here. The tell-tale sign for the dogs and I in the morning are the appearance of the burrs. Plants are working hard to propagate. We just do not appreciate their efforts. To the fact,I keep a needle nose pliers to gently work the burrs from the Port.Water Dogs curly fur coats. We got back from the walk and they patiently let me pick the burrs out. I saved some for an info pic on top of my hat (see pic below). Oops, the burrs stuck to the hat. No damage, but Duh! They even hurt my fingers as I work them out. Effective propagation devices.

Eric, Nice Playboy, your picture of the burrs on the hat is a little like the sound of fingernails on glass. It's a bit painful to look at.

David, sharp Tumwater, this color for that Hat looks really good! The cavanagh shines in a wonderful shape.

Alan, a nice name for a Boater and you wear him so well.

Case, looks good the cap, nice shape too!

Eric, good morning too! That Playboy is a beauty and yes, a shame, they are rare.
