srserl, where is Auburn, CA? I suppose I could always look it up.

Auburn is east of Sacramento, CA, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains (maybe 120 miles east of San Francisco). It is about 10 miles north of Coloma, CA, which is where gold was first discovered in California and started the gold rush.


Al, great set of photos, as always; your sets are what inspired me to post. Fishing was a huge part of my life growing up, so I especially appreciated the lures. I probably have a hundred or so from the 60s-80s.
