Today it was time for my vintage Stetson. No idea of the model...it would seem that a lot of Canadian-made stetsons didn't carry a model name (although my Whippet does). It's quite lightweight and has a narrow bound edge...a Weekender, perhaps?
Anyway, it's a 7 3/8 extra long oval, so it's fine by me.

Well....since it's a bit cool in L.A. today, I'm wearing my Stetson Temple, which was my first real fedora. It was a gift from my wife last Christmas. Also, two recent eBay wins: 1.) a nice tweed jacket, mostly black and silver with tiny specks of red, green, gold, and blue; and 2.) oxford button-down dress shirt (99¢!). Oh, and no -- I don't normally wear my jacket and hat in the office. Just for pictures!

My wife and I went to the Queens Zoo here in NYC. Gorgeous day for walking around and seeing some beautiful animals and cool rockets.

My favorite bird of which I even have a tattoo.

Aureliano, that's Flushing Meadow Park. A nice place to visit. I used to go there when I was a kid. It was the site of the 1964-65 World's Fair.

That's me, standing behind the carriage, in front of my mom. Notice the hat.

Thank you, Alan, Rusty and Scotty. The park is beautiful specially at this time of the year. We've been to the site of the fair before, which is across from where the zoo is, in the other side of the parkway. Didn't make it there this time, though.
