Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were all the same - moving a lot of dirt and putting in a lot of plants at my parents' house.

Here are some before, during, and after shots. There's still a bit of manicuring and mowing to be done, but the major work is complete.

Today was a relaxing, eating, and playing day at my in-laws' place.

Thank you, Alex, and Perry!

Perry, I like that Stetson Shantung, what model is it? The 'Royal Hat Works' is new to me, but dates to the late '30s or early '40s, I believe. More details here.

Looking dashing as always, AL - the Optimo panama is the highlight for me from your superb weekend hat parade.

Looking cool, Perry!... it's going to be a scorcher today.

The Shantung is a Stetson OR from Miller Hats. It has a lot of shellac on it, very stiff. I have an earlier one made
by Biltmore that is more pliable. It seems that Miller doesn't carry the Biltmore straw at this time.
