Melton...

Lovely lavender undertone offset by the contrasting ribbon and binding. One of my favorites.

I'm sure you are experiencing much more snow on your polar expedition...;)

Thanks, Mario, Rodkins, delectans! :)

If you miss a couple of days, it is difficult to be fair without writing too long a post... I will select a few, but well done everybody!

MWegener, that green is so deep that it must surely absorb light like a Black Hole :D .
Very smart hat Jimmy!
Rick, that is a truly "personality" crease.
RLK, excellent colour combo again!

Today there was Carnival Day at Laura's school. She went as a cowgirl; when given the choice, she selected one of the stingies I have collecting dust, a Stetson (which I never wear, because of his extreme stinginess :D ).

I think she does know how to wear a stingy!

I wore my Fléchet, which I recently recreased from the shallow c-crown it came in, to a classic centerdent:

Very nice, Lloyd. Having grown up in So. Cal myself I remember well those cold Winter mornings! Looks like there are still fresh dew drops on that bench.

what a great thread!
delectans-- what kind of sadists are we, having grown up in Southern California and living in two of the coldest places in the country?:)

...when i was younger I used to jump in our swimming pool on Christmas morning just to prove a point to my relatives in Nova Scotia...

My Fedora is custom VS. I asked him to replicate Jimmy Darmody from "Boardwalk Empire"...Art nailed it.

he sure did! Buscemi's got a pretty fantastic one on there, too. Haven't seen this show, but I'll look out for it.

Fletch-- do you play klezmer or jazz on that metal thing? I should find a metal oboe-- it would surely be less prone to cracking up here in the high plains!

I look forward to bringing my camera with me "in the field" in the future!
