That rules me out. I'm a size 7-3/4 (full), that is, my noggin is a smidgen over 24 inches. (I thought that a size 7-3/4 was 24 inches, and that size 7-1/2 was 23-3/4 inches.)

the guy remeasured and it turned out to be a 24 1/4 or so...

The felt is so soft I just can't help fiddling with it ! Plus I like a tight pinch , not necessarily an indy pinch but at least a little tight up at the top.
