Very nice Brent... 2nd hand or custom for you?My first Penman. I think the crease will be changed on delivery...now I guess I’m in the market for a whip.

I’ve admired his work that he posts on Facebook. Looks like it is made with such care. Along with the story of him making the Blacklist hats. Great addition for youUsed. I’ve considered his Everyman Hats several times, but I’ve never pulled the trigger. His beaver full customs are a bit more than I like spending on hats.
Still waiting on mine. I sent it back and was told in mid-Sept that it would be a few weeks...Used. I’ve considered his Everyman Hats several times, but I’ve never pulled the trigger. His beaver full customs are a bit more than I like spending on hats.

That’s discouraging. Most custom hatters are running behind. Part of the reason I went with a couple European hatters is their more reasonable delivery times and track record of delivering on-time.
NICE! I hope they are excellent!A pair of firsts for me (although I do have a Portis box already).

The auction had some really bad pics so these may both be filthy and ridden with moth holes. We'll see ...

!When you are trying to decide which hat to wear, and your wife says “you should get a black one...” what else can you do? View attachment 282113 I don’t think it’s actually black, so I may have to find another...
Either way it looks darn good.... what’s wrong with another anywayWhen you are trying to decide which hat to wear, and your wife says “you should get a black one...” what else can you do? View attachment 282113 I don’t think it’s actually black, so I may have to find another...

WelcomeHello all! I am a new member and kind of new to hats. I have been lurking here for a little while reading and learning a lot of things I did not know. Still a lot of terminology I don't get yet but I am sure I will learn. I ordered my fourth hat today, an Akubra Campdraft in Taupe. I recently acquired an Open Road Royal Deluxe in Sage(New modern) and I have a modern Stratoliner in Silverbelly I got a couple of years ago along with a Stetson Crushable of some sort in wool kind of a navy blue/grey. Anyway I like the look of the vintage Stratoliners and Open roads I have seen on here and would love to work my into one in the future. For now I decided to give the Akubra a try, it looks like an attractive alternative.
Welcome to the Lounge! I have 6 Campdrafts and have 2 more on the way. I'm a little biased, but I think you'll like your Taupe Fawn.Hello all! I am a new member and kind of new to hats.
