Next to the post reply button there should be an upload an image button. You click on that then browse to your photo. Hope that helps.since Tapatalk stopped playing nice with this forum, I haven't figured out how to post pics.
For my daily 5 mile morning hike in the woods, it's always my Akubra Heritage Fawn Banjo Patterson.
For just about everything else, I wear my converted Stetson Roadster in Walnut. I posted pics of the conversion in the Roadster section of the forum. My darker colored felt hats are waiting for cooler weather to reappear.. LOL
I took the plunge and ordered a beaver Raiders Poet from Herbert Johnson.
The Indy hat is the reason I started wearing hats, and although my Fortune and Glory is among my most favorite lids, I do really feel like HJ's blocks now do capture the Indy look that was missing from previous versions (for those not in the know of the convoluted back story, the "correct" block was thought to be lost to history...and though there is not 100% dispositive proof these current blocks were duplicated from the original set....if it walks like duck...) Indy fans will never stop debating over which maker has the "most accurate" version of the hat, but I am the sucker that is definitely swayed by an HJ branded hat.
They also recently added a lighter weight "Deep Sable" felt that is 10gr lighter than their standard bodies and felted denser. Denser and lighter were the magic words for me. So you know, I had to get it, for like, a scientific hat comparison. Right? That's a justifiable reason? Yeah, that's the ticket.
Dang. With that description, now I want one.
What's the delivery time on that one?

For BOTH OF YOU!!!!!! Now I want as well!!!!!!!Dang. With that description, now I want one.
I anxiously await your learned review! Seriously, you're making me want one...I took the plunge and ordered a beaver Raiders Poet from Herbert Johnson.

I have an older 90s era Poet that I adore. It has enough of the "Indy" look to be satisfactorily recognizable as one, but still enough of it's own unique shape so that it doesn't look like a costume piece.I took the plunge and ordered a beaver Raiders Poet from Herbert Johnson.

Congrats on your purchase Jared. I look forward to seeing the hat and your review of it. I ordered a handmade Raiders in beaver from Penman back in January, and I'm getting anxious to have it in my hands and on my head.I took the plunge and ordered a beaver Raiders Poet from Herbert Johnson.

Yes, royal blue. Jonathan makes a nice cap.Is that blue, Doug? I can't quite make it out
You are going to force me to get one for myself.
Hoping this one arrives for my birthday next week. As @BobHufford said... “This looks like it might be something ...”

Looking forward to the reveal... Thanks Bob!
The Captain is dead.I'm assuming you're excited about the captain's cap...

Items I have purchased recently from the UK have taken 3-4 weeks to arrive here on the west coast...but a lot of that was sitting in Canada Customs waiting clearanceThe website shows 2-3 weeks, and I believe that COVID has not changed that substantially. The most recent review post over on COW says it was "about a month" for theirs.
Oh I’m pretty sure that’s just a costume/tourist hat. Certainly no offense to be taken.I‘m not that familar with the rankings of other nation‘s naval forces but to me Blare’s hat above is just a plain officer‘s hat at this point. For a captan‘s hat it lacks some tinsel in my opinion.
No offence!
Cheers
