No, I forgot to post this picture. I bought it already, by the way. And I agree, the liner is one of the reasons I found this hat so attractive.

Max, Fantastic! I think there should be some info here on Scott & Co. but I would have to search around. Stefan might have some Scott & Co. Soft Felts in his collection. The address might be a clue for dating.

I was going to ask your opinion before I bought it, Steven, but I remembered that I very recently asked you about another, and I wanted to space my consultations, so I won't be a burden to you.

I especially liked the sweatband, and the liner reminded me of a beautiful "Helios" liner you posted in another thread. I coveted that liner!

I asked Stefan, and he said it was a little too pricey. Red said he liked it, and so did Bob, Bowen and Brent, and I loved it, and didn't mind overpaying for it, so I bought it.

I am glad you approve!

I found a post by rabbit, #24, in the Great British Hatmakers thread.

Great price for Harris Tweed and a Leather sweat. I ordered the green first because it was listed as a one-off. If the sizing works as expected I’ll be back.

Those folks color with all the crayons in the box!
Looks like some nice tweeds and craftmanship. Not bad prices.
Look forward to your review.

I'm waiting for a hat from Stephen Temkin of Leon Drexler that is quite special and that I hope will come soon. It has an 'open-roll' brim that Mr. Temkin was fortunate enough to happen upon flanges for. He made an example for his own enjoyment that, and I swear that this is so, looked like something that I had been imagining for myself for years. The color palate, built from my speculate suggestion and Mr. Temkin's sensible ideas about color, looks to have turned out excellently. I was very happy to be able to order one of the earliest examples of its kind, as well as waiting a little longer for it so that pictures could be taken for the hatter's portfolio, which I intend as an 'around town' hat to wear on weekends.

Great looking style Max. You can wear this one well. I'm curious, wonder what this design has to do with Frank Lloyd Wright? Are there images of him wearing this type? Quick...to Google!
Yes, there are. A good one is on Optimo's first page

It arrived. Still getting used to the look...
Having compared yours to photos of Mr. Wright's hat, I see the problem. Aside from the color difference, yours is too new. His hat has clearly been worn, creased, and re-creased by hand a number of times over the years, while yours is still pristine. You need to stomp on it a few times (preferably not while wearing your golf shoes) and rough it up to give it that "lived in" look that comes from years of use. :D

Hahaha. I will just swat it against the trees when I go out of bounds. That should accomplish it quickly.
