Got it off a member here through an auction. Sweat stitched up but looks great aside from that.
I'd be glad to have it, period. I wouldn't give a hoot if it was 10 or 12 years younger rather then older. If its nice, its nice. Especially if you like it!Ok thanks
Was quality still good for this era for Borsalino?
Wow, thanks for the warning! (Sounds wonderful)these are a different world my friend ... if you are anything like me, once you own one you will own 5
Well I guess that depends on who you ask. Some will give you an opinion based on personal experience, some will only parrot what they have read here. Others will only repeat what the big boys said on the playground. My first post was not to dog your hat, but to say I didn't agree with your dating. To answer your question, their quality was good for this era, but I prefer the older felt......and yes I own hats from all ages.Ok thanks

9 Months? Holy Moly! You'll go bonkers waiting...and waiting.....Just got in the queue at Black Sheep Hatworks for a hat he calls The Imperial. Color is Black Cherry in 100% Beaver with a long hair finish. Only 9 months to wait now. Bob has invited me out for the fitting when time. Will be fun to meet him and see his shop.
Maybe she'll have the good graces to bury you in it.
