A couple of nice ones, Bob.
A couple of nice ones, Bob.
Peaked my interest as well. I think I remember Alan has one similar. Definitely a bit of a historical piece. A time when they started making a felt for hats from plastic out of necessity during the war.. as opposed to the reasons of today.Obviously not my size, but I wanted it just to have as a curiosity.

I think you definitely got it right. It’s a nice little piece of history. I’m interested to know your thoughts when you have it in hand.Plastic was a new wonder material and wasn’t synonymous with cheapness at the time. For the price, I wanted it just to feel it, and maybe display it at some point.
Not a hat YET....but just purchased a beaver/chinchilla blend felt (Millineryi Warehouse/Ukraine felt.) I have a Winchester beaver/mink that I was not all that impressed with so thought I would try an upgrade to chinchilla. Stay tuned.
I just wanna be able to say..."I am chillin' in my chinchilla!"Gettin' fancy, Robert!
Now that is a fluffy Sportsman, Stefan. Like you, I'm looking forward to seeing the size of this Panizza.Couldn't resist this one. Wonder what size it turns out to be.
