Really nice. Love the ribbon color.

You are the Dalton King of Ohio
Mallory bowler from probably 1900- 1929. The hat looks rough but bought it on impulse because of the great early sweatband and overall earliness.
Yes, I was just getting this post together and erring on the high side with a 1929 date, but about 1916 or 1917 is the last date I've seen that type Mallory emblem in an advertisement.Nice! With that logo I think it is pre-1921.
Of America…. The WORLD some would say.. Dalton mightJust Ohio?![]()
I'd have bought it for the exact same reasons, Mike.Mallory bowler from probably 1900- 1920. The hat looks rough but bought it on impulse because of the great early sweatband and overall earliness.
Thanks. It's in rough shape and has a tear or gash in the crown, but only cost $60, so figured it needed saving for historical interest.I'd have bought it for the exact same reasons, Mike.
Nice find!

My Bantam looks almost exactly like that one. I think of it as a Playboy with short binding.I thought the Bantam had wider binding. Whippet? Bound Playboy? They sound like part of the same game.![]()
It's lucky for those of us you enable that you don't, Stefan
