I think the DuPont "Aridex" shout-out might put it in the 1940s.

I think they switched to the Mr. Disney designation in the late 1940s.
I’m sure I have a Disney (no “Mr.”) that’s later than the 1940s. Is it possible that there was an overlap where both brandings were used?
The Professor indicates 1947, with Frank Lee being in possession of the branding since ~1943. But I think the key takeaway is you don't see the Mr. Disney designation before then.
Yes… probably this. I have what I believe a 1960s Disney Double Eagle without Mr…. Which I’d LOVE to be pre 1947The Professor indicates 1947, with Frank Lee being in possession of the branding since ~1943. But I think the key takeaway is you don't see the Mr. Disney designation before then.
I'm wondering if there could have been two S. H. Nite, father & son? What is interesting is that 1918 was the beginning of the Spanish Flu pandemic & it broke out in & devastated SWOh boy not sure I want to know what a toe tag is.
Hat and band are coming separately, age of two a coincidence.
Seller wrote me band and tag had been boxed together for many years. SH Nite, owner of band and tag, lived from 1886 to 1964.
edit: more specifically this is what was included in band's description:
Seems like seller might have some facts mixed up. Just read a "fantasy" toe tag being mentioned.
- Metal ID Tag Included for Provenance: "S.H. Nite; Garden City, Kansas: 10-2-1918".
- (S.H. Nite lived from 1886-1964. He was my great-grandfather. He purchased a pharmacy in Montezuma, KS. He married Nina Covert, who was from a prominent family in Garden City, which is not too far from Montezuma. Both Montezuma and Garden City are near Dodge City, KS, where Wyatt Earp and his gang lived.)
Appreciate your input, Jack,
Mike
