That is a very nice hat. It would look great with a nice 7/8" or 13/16" beaded hatband.

I have been looking for the right beaded hatband for a while. Still haven't found the perfect one.

It's not here yet, just arrived at customs yesterday. It probably won't arrive before I leave home for a few days later this wk, so it should be here when I get back.

I have a new boater on the way from one of our Facebook Fedora Lounge denizens. He posted it on the feed and I couldn't resist. Even though it's a touch too big, and has no side dents, I'm pretty thrilled with it.

When I've padded it out a bit, and set some side dents into it, I'll post a picture or two.

perhaps better big than small with a homburg, i have a black one that just 'fits' but it looks all wrong cause it looks too small.

I seem to be in between a 58 and 59 so I err on the side of largeness. I can always pad out a slightly too big 'un, but I never have any luck stretching out small ones.
