I don't kno abt "chief enabler" but I encourage selective buying. The Deckard Whippet is a totally different hat then the open crown vintage whippets, so I'll definitly "encourage" you to try to find a vintage one as well...

Candy at the Outlet in TX was a joy to work with. Due in Oregon on Friday is my new Whippet. Bob's influence is greatly appreciated, I probably would not have pulled the trigger without his prodding.
