100% beaver fur felt from FEPSA
Came in at 5" Open Crown, flat sided (more so than original attempt)
2 7/8" brim width, just under 3"
This should work out okay...

Thx. Sounds like it's gonna b nice w the straighter sides and larger brim. Will u have enuff crown to work with?

Leaving it open crown like hat Tommy Lee Jones wore in The Missing...brim is not bound & shorter...

Depends on your shipping option. Their lower cost Air Mail service is not trackable. I believe the higher priced ECS service provides you with a tracking number.

I am currently into a 3 month wait on a "modified" 1930's PLAYBOY from NORTHWEST HATS. Whisky beaver felt, 6" crown, 1 1/2" dark brown ribbon, 2 1/8" raw edge brim with one row of decorative stitching. According to the last word from Mike, this could be anytime now, the wait is killing me needless to say.

I would be interested in seeing a picture of the finished product. Requested a 6" open crown on my build from Mike, but the resulting height was a bit underwhelming.
