What era is this?

Hello all, I was wondering, the resident lid experts, is this a quality hat and what era is it from?

You can see that style of hat advertised from the 30s into the 50s. Its hard to pin it down more than that unless you researched the maker. Most hats in that time period are well worth the money. That one looks very nice although I haven't heard of them before.

I'm guessing by the crown and the brim and the plastic in the lining that it may be one of those late 40's early 50's hats.
