Thanks, you guys. You're really sweet.

Yeah, that would be awesome, Diamondback, but a Thompson really would demand vintage dress, though. Just out of respect, you know.

But it'd be oh so hot...;) :D

*savoring being called 'sweet'--it doesn't happen much*

Suggestion if you find an opportunity to play the Piano: Pantsuit and high neckline--trust me, you don't wanna do the Hot Brass Dance with a Typewriter. Especially when you're doing a drum-dump!

Merci beaucoup, Monsieur Rafter. Vous dites les choses les plus douces!
I must admit that the French is from my handy-dandy translating wizard, though. My second language was Spanish, and even it is a tad rusty.

And you are right about the shoes. In my own defense, I'm a California girl, and moved to Colorado without the proper equipment. I've since rectified the situation and invested in a smart pair of lined ankle boots. :)

Perhaps this a better choice for those shoes...

on account of it being my 58th birthday my daughter took this sneaky shot - me gazing blankly out of the window "in senior moment" prior to a healthy and invigorating stride over the hills

or as Mrs night would have it, prior to blowing up a German troop train....

Way to go, Mrs night! :eusa_clap Tell her I agree.

yes, an ELC LW, one of the few repros in my obsessively large leather jacket collection. It's basically a copy of a 1930s French biker jacket, as you know the LW didn't have an issue leather jacket. The rest of the outfit is original 1930s gear, I gave up wearing modern clothes years ago.

Incidentally the jacket has a blue satin lining not the usual brushed cotton - Gary tells me this makes it one of the first 10 or 20 they made. I got it on Ebay (of course) for a ridiculous £150

BTW, the train de-railed very nicely......

Thank you, Spitfire! I am assuming that you meant wordless in a good way! ;)

You certainly did brighten my day, Diamondback!

And Viola, that is a really cute picture of you! The boys are right, you're adorable!

Aw, thanks. You're a hard act to follow, Joie DeVive! I love your style and I envy your wardrobe. :)

Also, you look just like Jennifer Connelly in the Rocketeer in that 2nd photo.

Diamondback, I have just the pinstripe pantsuit, but alas, no Chicago type-writer.
