I had that job once, a temp job, for three months I was an info operator....lol
I am an union electrician. Been a member since 2000. Currently I am taking a break from the construction aspect of it (working on the casinos) gor burnt out, and am what we call a "showgirl", set up the electrical needs for the conventions that come to town. At least this way I get to meet a lot of differ people from around the world.

Currently, I'm the IT manager for a small law firm, and I do digital forensics.

That largely means cloning computer hard drives, then analyzing / searching them for whatever is of interest. It's largely a lot of tedious work, but with technically challenging and interesting bits.

I'm an administrator at an art museum with a very small number of people working for it. As a result, we all have to wear a lot of "hats". I'm responsible for tours, security, PR, correspondence, book keeping, research, graphic design work, computer trouble shooting, managing the museum gift shop, and a whole bunch of other stuff.

I call myself a "student on sabbatical" and "freelance research consultant."

I've changed majors (was Business/Management; now aiming for a Masters/eventual Ph.D. in WWII Studies) so have to set most of my previous round in college aside, plus I'm taking a few years to try to whip myself into shape and get into ROTC. I also donate a lot of time and effort to historical research for various groups, mostly specializing in WWII, or transportation and weapons technologies.

Also, director of DiamondbackProjects.org, a site I'm setting up to warehouse all of the various historical, technical, personal-defense tutoring, and geopolitical-analysis work I've done over the years.

I'm full-house Asperger's (think an autistic on a major hit of intellectual steroids); research is pretty much all I can do.

I work at home and am on sick leave from getting my AA in fashion design.

So in the meantime, I answer phones and sell all the junk on TV and design/create clothing for plus sized non-gender specific women and adult film stars. And then I write on the side.

I can't figure out what I want to be when I grow up.[huh]
