I'm a staff assistant in the executive branch of the federal government.

But soon I plan to be a full-time seminary student, with an eye toward pastoring or teaching one day.

And I'm toying with the idea of working in menswear retail on the side.

Where do you intend to go to seminary, if I may ask?

I work for a federal contractor to the army. I draw maps and use GIS programs. Consequently to work there you need secret clearance. I've been there at just over 2 years. Very interesting work, but I aspire to do something else.

This thread is quite encouraging. It seems that many of you have found interesting jobs or professions that you truly enjoy. When Sarah's contract is up and she finds a new job stateside, we may move again. If so, I will have the opportunity to re-think my current profession.
