If you like it a little challenging, though less than any Laphroaig in a matter of peat, try a Talisker 10, not Skye, should be available around 30,- bucks, sometimes below.

The Talisker 10 is one of my favourites but in Canada it is closer to $80 for the bottle. It was in my top 3 of the distilleries we visited and the whisky from there, Oban and Lagavullan either distillers edition or the 16 are my top 3 drams.

Little cheapo from the supermarket yesterday. Ledaig plays easily recognizable first fiddle here, background singers are kind of Jura toned, maybe CaolIla too. Very nice, easy sipping stuff for just 28,- bucks if I remember right.

That your grocery store sells scotch is wonderful. In Ontario, Canada, ours are only just recently allowed to sell beer and wine.
