Found a sale on KC Bier Co. Dunkel this wk in 6-packs so I bought a couple. I love a good brown German Lager. It was so cold & I was tempted to violate the No Open Container Law.

Yesterday was apparently try a new beer day. I drank half a Mango Chelada from Modelo. I won't get another one, not sweet enough for wine drinkers, not enough of a beer for even a light beer. It was like drinking Hi-C with Coors light in it, but it didn't taste BAD exactly, it just wasn't right.

Having grown up drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon, I tried their new Pabst Extra, it was a decent slightly flavored domestic American beer. It is better than the regular white label Pabst.

I also tried a Kostritzer Black Lager, which was not at all disappointing. Just a regular old black Lager. Now I'm missing OKC Octoberfest dammit.

I usually prefer dark beers such as Alt, Bock, Lagers, Cellars... when it´s about German beers.
Pils (except Flensburger and Binding), Export, Bavarian Helles ist less my world. When it´s about light beers i love the huge varietiy of those in Belgium and France such as those wonderful Dubbels and Tripels...

Yesterday evening it has been two nice cold Leffe Royal Amber.
