Bad timing! Having a new updated swamp cooler and ducting installed. I knew I could rely on the central a.c. during this install. Wrong! A.C. unit decided to stop yesterday, parts on order. No cooling until tomorrow afternoon. My only refuge is the hammock, IPA, and the latest issue of Chokma.

Thanks Jack, but I will sleep in the hammock first! After all, I am Chickasaw! At least that's how I feel, after a few IPAs and reading the magazine!

I get on kicks. lol. Right now I'm leaning to the wine, but next month, when it is hotter, I'll gravitate to beer. The blackberry merlot is nice. Not overly fruity and not overly bitter.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that. Started the evening with Avalanche Colorado Ale, then moved to Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy for something lighter. Then I had a glass of cheap blueberry rose at dinner, and finished the night with a shot of Longbranch bourbon.

Went to an art show at one of the local breweries, Cahaba Brewing Co, and had some of their pale ale and blonde ale, then went next door to the Puerto Rican restaurant and had mojitos.

An old favorite! Elysian Space Dust uses Chinook as the buttering hop. Too bitter for some, but perfect for those who like IPA!
