Never heard of Bacher but I love a good German style Bock or Lager.
Don't know if you have Aldi grocery stores in your area, but they sell beers that no one else does. In fact, that's all they sell...none of the other brands. They're hit and miss, but all of the German and Belgian beers I've tried from there have been good. I, like you, really enjoy a good German lager, and for 5 bucks and some change for six of them (thats cheaper than a six pack of Bud around here) I'm sure willing to give it a go.

I generally stay away from grocery stores but I think they charge $0.25 to get a cart unlocked & out of the rack.

Tonight was a few Dos Equis Ambers with some Tex Mex.

Thats the place.

You can save the quarter if you don't buy more than you can carry.

It's a multinational Saturday night for me. There's a couple of the Bachers left in the fridge, a couple of Modelos, a Guiness, and a pint of vodka.

The quarter is a deposit which you get back when you return the cart. This is how/why you can buy a six pack, or most any of their other products, so cheap. Don't have to pay someone to go collect carts in the parking lot. Same reason why you bag your own groceries. Or why product is stacked and sold from bulk boxes instead of shelving units. Or why credit cards aren't accepted. Maximized efficiency to keep overhead to a minimum. So very German.

The cart returning and self bagging aren't a nuisance to me, but they could sure maximize efficiency the most if they'd keep the checkout lines adequately staffed. At this point I've pretty much learned which times of day to stop in to avoid the crowd.

While camping in Half Moon Bay, with unobstructed ocean view, the past few days, a few Modelos, Angry Orchards, St. Carl’s Caramel Stouts, and Guinnesses. The St. Carl’s and Guinness were on tap and great. The Angry Orchards were consumed while sitting and watching the ocean from our campsite. I could live this life everyday and be perfectly content.
