Started feeling poorly yesterday so I came home early and had a bowl of ice cream with an Old Crow on the rocks. A few hours later it was water and more water. Still hacking and coughing.

Stopped in our favorite pub late yesterday for a couple of Irish Coffees. This place does it right. They brew a fresh pot of coffee if the current one has been sitting around, Bushmills Irish Whiskey, fresh, hand-made whip cream and a very light dusting of brown sugar on top. Wonderful.

Guinness, Newcastle, and a couple of glasses of port after dinner to wash down all the pie I ate.

Started the afternoon with shots of Russian Standard vodka and Heineken, then before dinner had some Sunlight Cream Ale from the Sun King brewery in Indianapolis, brought down by my brother who was visiting for Thanksgiving, and after the meal there was Stolichnaya vodka in raspberry lemonade with fresh mint.
