Chateauneuf du Pape 2011
Plenty this past weekend.... including a few sidecars, a Harvey Wallbanger, and a few old-fashioneds
Hi James
I go there quite a bit, nice place, MOST of the people I work with out there are great, however a lot of the US would change that to "California SHOULD be a country all by itself." I just wish I could afford to live in Long Beach. It's the only facility that know of that our company owns where you can walk to lunch at a decent restaurant.
Still drinking Old Fashioned's a lot, but some of my old friends from Kansas are in town this week so I'm drinking free hotel happy hour beer. Last night it was Amber Bock (Good) but the night before they had Ultra water.
Later
Vodka tonic w/ lime made w/ Monopolowa. A Polish recipe vodka made from distilled potatoes. So very sweet and clean. I cannot buy it here in Iowa. But stock up whenever I travel West.
Do a blind taste test. It will win every time, even against Chopin brand which cost's 3X more.
FYI, I have found Vodka made from potatoes are always the best

Aged?! That must have been forty years ago. They don't age it five minutes now.
Hey James,
I beg to differ.
Research the process of distillation.
You will see that the starches in potatoes convert to alcohol more pure than wheat.
Plain and simple.
Proof is in the pudding.
Just try it blind.
