Hi Danny O,
Sorry I missed you the other night. We didn't cross paths at the Club. What are "Knob Creek's"?

Hi BD,

No problem, I was late arriving myself, anyway. Knob Creek: A very nice Kentucky Bourbon.........and sometimes, after a hard day, "less, is more".

Just waiting for the new batch of Green Chartreuse to arrive, and then it'll be "Green Dragons".......and they, will certainly hit the spot!

If so, I hope (for Miss Golightly's sake) that they are cheaper in Ireland than here in the states.
My billfold limits me to Ripasso's (which I need to open a bottle of again soon ...)

Well, Green Bay won the Super Bowl. Highlight of my decade, thus far. So, the short answer is TOO MUCH!

Were you drinking PBR? Voted America's best in 1893, an never again since... :D I actually like to drink PBR in the summer time, at times. Dad drank it all the time in the 70s but says that it tasted better back then, to which I reply, "Think of how good it was in 1893." Dad doesn't have the sense of humor that I have :p

BTW, I had Wild Turkey last night.

I actually collect Pabst memorabilia too, and have all kinds of fascinating pieces, especially from the 1893 world's fair. They also won in 1904. And PBR was a top seller until 1978.

I drank a 12 pack of PBR, a few Bud Lights, and what was left of one of my bottles of Old Thompson.

We shouldn't hijack this thread since it isn't the temperature thread :D but let me check with my parents to see if dad still has any PBR memorabilla from the 70s. Remeber Pabst Man?
IF, anything is still around you may get a parcel from me. Dad is not a packrat so I don't know what might still be around.

What is this thread, oh yes, in addition to the Wild Turkey I had a couple of Blue Moons.

Rue, I saw that you posted right after me and thought, "now does she think it's the temp thread?" :D I know you post on several other threads here, it was just funny to see your post so soon.

Yes, I'm awake but that does explain the foggy feeling I had this morning. Hopefully I didn't rant to BD too much in that PM
