Except I was drinking Ardmore not in it.
Last night was my own version of the Mint Julep:
lemon balm
sugar
crushed ice
Rye

Muddle lemon balm with sugar and an equal amount of water---being careful not to bruise the lemon balm. Fill glass (peweter mug in my case) with crushed ice and then fill with rye. You can garnish it with a sprig of lemon balm as well.
