I had an old-fashioned bottle of Grüner Vollbier Hell, which I never saw before. Original bavarian Helles, but not really my taste. Too much bavarian sweetness. It was more like a flowery "Landbier".

I remember Augustiner Hell to be quite dry for a Bavarian beer. Or Wernesgrüner from Saxonia which I remember to be drier than a Jever or Flensburger.
