What Did You Drink Last Night?

I haven't seen Schaefer in years, but Hamm's is about 12 bucks a 30 pack here, so I drink plenty of it. Old Milwaukee is next closest at 14.

I've been battling a cold and a sore throat for about a week or more, now, so whiskey is my drink of choice. Cure what ails ya.

I can't get Hamms or Schaefer down here anymore. Have to make do with PBR. Or......there's always plenty of Steel Reserve or Hurricane to be found for a good price.

Whiskey by itself doesn’t but if you mix honey, orange juice and lemon juice with the rind of both the lemon and orange then you have something. My grandmother used to heat clover honey with water to melt it a bit then add the juice of one orange and juice of one lemon with the grated rind of lemon and orange---about a tablespoon of each. This you add to about three fifths of whiskey of your choice. That will fix you or at least get you good and drunk. Aging this for a while will meld the flavors better though.

An old recipe used to say to get in bed. Place a bowler at the foot of the bed. Drink until you see two. :p
