Some do, some don't, but drop of water can help 'open up' a very strong, concentrated whisky, like a lot of the Islay ones, and make it a less eye-watering experience.
I love eye watering experiences. You only live once.

Too cold for them.
98° yesterday, so I stuck to GTs. There are mosquitoes about and I don't wanna contract malaria.
Hi
The CHEAPEST decent beer at the Cellar last week was a 30 pack of Pabst for under $17.00. Since Augie Busch quit the NRA I'm boycotting them anyway. I also bought a six of Oklahoma pale ale but I haven't cracked one open yet. No, I'm NOT hipstering James. I also bought a bottle of Talisker and like a gallon of some cheap gin for GT.
Later Y'all
I had a superbly created Makers Old Fashioned! Hard to find a real bartender anymore, a true mixologist is a rarity.
Woodchuck Hard Cider. Not a bad, lighter beverage for the warmer days...Strongbow Hard Cider on tap
Great. What do you pour over it? lolMilwaukee's Best Ice.
