Cabernet/Syrah blend from Casillero Del Diablo.
I think the spelling is correct, the label gets blurry after awhile. :D
Of course this is the second bottle I've had to fish the cork out of.
I hate that.

Type of sweetener, for one. Coke from Mexico has sugar, not corn syrup (at least that is what is listed on the label).

from Cotes du Rhone through Chateneuf du Pape.

All good!

I would have tasted the whole bottle of Chateneuf. :p
I'd have only done that once, then I'd see two of you if not three. :)
I love the Cotes Du Rhone area, my favorite maker being Chapoutier.

Of course that being said, I'm currently going through a bottle of Casillero Del Diablo Carmenere 2011.
I like to branch out on occasion. :D

A St. George's Gin Martini with Lillet rose for vermouth. Wow. As it is in the 90s here in So Cal, we had a bone dry Cotes de Provence with dinner. La Vie en Rose!

Actually, there were two:
La Bastide Saint Dominique and Clos de L'Oratoire des Papes.
And if you had monopolized those, you would have missed:
the Domaine de Font-Sane Tradition Gigondas,
the Château de Roques Vacqueyras,
the Domaine le Couroulu Vacqueyras, and
the Jean-Marie Arnoux Vacqueyras.

All good!
