Since I was coming back from the inlaws last night, I purchased some small bottles of Sutter Home Merlot.
Being a Syrah fan or even Syrah and Grenache, I can't take Merlot. Blech!
In all fairness to lewisskimonster, it's probably the brand.

Yesterday should've been a session day, but didn't end that way.

Started out with a pint of some apparently-nameless chocolate stout from Oakshire Brewery here in Eugene as I settled in to watch the Civil War at a local pub.
Game went terrible, and I moved onto a bomber of Black Jack Imperial Chocolate Pumpkin Porter after some wings and chili cheese fries. Game kept getting worse, so I finished that and went home.

Last night my wife, an aspiring mixologist, created A Gentleman's Cranberry. Consisting of New Amsterdam Gin, cream soda, Sierra Mist and Cranberry juice.

Unfortunately, no photos exist, but I assure you it was a bubbly, delicious drink.

Alamo Bowl versus Texas, taken over UCLA. Yeah!

Last night was Pyramid Chai Wheat, just time for one. Not sure how I feel about it. Has it's high points, but seemed inconsistent. The spice character was good when it came through, though.
