Guinness! Is there anything tastier on a sultry summer's night?
One drink I just do not get! I've tried it so many times and I just find it too bitter (and heavy).

"Dark Star" espresso beer. Hmmm, not too sure, to be honest. I've tasted better, and it seemed very flat.....

Sounds like it should have been amazing! Come have some Fruli with me. Meet you at the Club later on.

Not from me, if that swill floats your boat; God bless.....Guinness IS the only beer. I'm sure arguments will follow.
Interesting comments on Guiness. To me, there is a world of difference between Guiness from a bottle and Guiness poured properly from a tab. The bitter, heavy description fits my impression of Guiness from a bottle (which I never do anymore). A good Guiness on tap, however, almost tastes a bit light.Guinness IS the only beer. Yes it's a heavy drink, and the taste is something you have to aquire. (Miss Golightly my wife said the same thing about it as you do, with only one swig...that wasn't enough to tell!)
I describe it as a somewhat burnt caramel.
