What color pants would you wear the shirt with?

The darker, second picture is probably a little closer to true color. Brown pants I guess? What about black? Or light gray?

Brown, olive, blue, burgundy, black lots of options.

Anything in the autumnal range. Browns, greens. Would look good with either bottle green or a softer, olive green. A rich, chocolate brown would be a good pairing with it. I'd be careful with reds, maybe though a burgundy could work if it brings out the tan rather than 'orangey' notes in the shirt. Navy blue could work, though I'd avoid black and grey unless it's a sort of taupe grey with brown undertones.

I disagree, I think black trousers or a mid- to dark charcol grey would be fine with that shirt.
I do agree that "fall/autumn" colors will work best. Me personally I would go with a deep muted navy or a blue/grey
