I have been listening to the Mary Poppins soundtrack, daily, for months. It relaxes me, and keeps me from starting roadrage episodes. Anyone else have favorite music in the car?

Hmmm... Can't say mine is in the same genre, and certainly not of the Disney variety. Currently Avenged Sevenfold, self-titled. A bruiser of a metal album, and highly creative. Fantastic musicianship, something rarely seen in mainstream metal these days.

Tempered on occasion with some Frank, Jimi, or Stevie Ray...

The list is too long...I have about 65 CDs, including one that has Harry Connick Jr performing a few from Mary Poppins, uploaded into my car's navigation/audio system hard disk drive, and have it on random play. Takes a couple of months of driving daily to work to go through it all  :p lol

I don't drive, don't possess a car.... I usually do have a CD sitting in the stereo, which will get played a bit before I head out the door. Recently the Watchmen soundtrack has been on heavy rotation, but this week's disc du jour is a Jerry Lee Lewis greatest hits-type album.

One of the cooler things about my car that I didn't really process at the time I purchased it is that it came from the factory with a six-disc changer. I love it, since it doesn't have a line-in for use with a DAP, which have crappy line-outs these days anyway.

Currently, I've got:
Abney Park - Lost Horizons
Ensiferum - Iron
Epica - We Will Take You With Us
Nightwish - Dark Passion Play
Turisas - Battle Metal
Within Temptation - Black Symphony

Until a week ago and for about three months, it was:
Eluveitie - Evocation I - The Arcane Dominion
Heidevolk - De Strijdlust Is Geboren
Korpiklaani - Korven Kuningas
Lumsk - Asmund Frægdegjaevar
Turisas - The Varangian Way
Týr - Land
