Old-fashioned ketchup is the way to go. Modern sweet ketchup would be counterproductive.

We have a similar thing to Cannoli, in old Germany.

Bob, can you slice & fry Paw-Paw's like potatoes? How about using a dehydrator to make chips? I've picked them up before but never did anything with them foodwise.
We used to eat jicama potatoes when I was a kid but as far as I know I've never eaten a Paw Paw. They're plentiful around here & I see a lot of them growing along riverbanks when I canoe.@Hurricane Jack -- You can make batter dipped fritters, but the consistency is like a banana (with a few large seeds) and can be pretty soft. You can dehydrate them, but I've not done it.
