I am reading Pride and Prejudice ( again), I have just finished reading a series about Henry v111 wives and how his daughters came to power.

In Capstick's defense, it was written prior to much of the documentation (as opposed to rumor) of Mein's frauds and lies were made generally available.
If you haven't, it is an exciting read.
