Now playing, Bing in 1934, with Nat Finston's Orchestra, and "May I?" There's no such thing as too many mid-thirties Crosby records, and this is one of my favorites. Finston was the musical director at Paramount, and gave all that studio's musicals a snazzy Broadway pit band sound -- and it's a perfect mesh for Crosby's vocal gymnastics here.
Next up, staying in 1934 with the Boswell Sisters, accompanied by the Dorsey Brothers Orchestra, with "Stop The Sun, Stop The Moon." "Ag-o-neeee, ag-o-neeee!"
