I love that movie so much

Off topic but I met Ellen Page briefly a couple years ago and it was clear even then she was going places. I love her work.

Also (on topic) I was listening to Superfine's I Already Met You on the bus this morning and I can't get it out of my head. A pleasant earworm though.

mixed bag of music for me..everything from ella to 80's pop!

hellzyea, I just dug out some really old cassettes (finally got a deck again after many many years) and I knew I had some bizarre mix tapes from back in the day, but this one had me cracking up:

Side One:
The Chiffons, Toni Basil (as In Oh Mickey you're so fine/easy rider Bad trip Toni Basil), The Pretenders, Andrews Sisters (Bei Mir Bist Du Schon), Mills Brothers (Hold That Tiger), Clyde McCoy and Hal Mallet

Side Two:
Keith & Donna era Grateful Dead (live boot clips, no less!), Bessie Smith, Arthur Godfrey, Ben Bernie (yowza yowza!)

what on earth was I smoking back then? (probably made this around winter break of '83, cause I remember listening to it whilst cleaning parking lots for book money in between college semesters!)

I so wish Devotchka would tour somewhere vaguely near the East Coast--they're in Europe most of the spring it looks like. Argh!

I'm listening to Come Here--Kath Bloom (before I go to bed).
