I read an article in People about Glen (while waiting to get my hair cut). So sad. I was wondering if his past vices added to it, but that's hard to say. I think he's a talented guy, but when he goes I'll hear "Like A Rhinestone Cowboy" more times than I care to hear....LOL

I do love that song. I also heard 'Southern Nights' today.

I've always liked Glen Campbell, even though I did hear that he stole Mac Davis' wife. I know that bugs my pop, too.

Rue, something tells me you have a certain little day in 1959 on your mind today.

At my work, they play "Like a Rhinestone Cowboy" all the time! I have heard my share of this song far too many times I like to hear either. lol

Hmm.. Richie Valens, Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper, I can only imagine why I would think of the day the music died?!

You know, Waylon Jennings was supposed to be on that plane, but gave his seat up to Buddy Holly.
The last things they said to eachother:
Buddy: "I hope your bus freezes up"
Waylon: "I hope your plane crashes"
Waylon felt bad for that until the day he died.

I was having a moment lol
What ever gave you that idea Tom? ;)

Exactly the tune that came to mind when I saw Rue's artist selections of the evening!
