I've been rotating between the three last CDs my dad bought me.

Jerry Lee Lewis - (In his youth he had a good voice for country) The Definitive Collection

Dion Dimucci - (I love his voice both now and when he was younger) Heroes, Giants of Early Guitar Rock

Ricky Nelson - Greatest Hits (a few of my favorites aren't on it:( )

I can't go a day without Bobby Rydell so currently listening to 'Up On The Roof'. I absolutely love him on 'So Rare'.

Dad bought me DM's box set with the new SOTU album. To be honest I'm not keen on the new album. Too ethereal and soft for my taste. Not rocky enough. I'm probably one of the few DM fans who prefer PTA over SOTU.

It's May 4, 1939, and Chick Webb and his Orchestra are broadcasting from the Home of Happy Feet, the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem U. S. A. Right now, young Ella Fitzgerald is vocalizing a really dopey novelty song, "Chew Chew Chew Your Bubble Gum." Poor Ella.
