So, this is a clip from a Finnish comedy film from the 70's. The mechanic man in the clip is wearing some interesting looking boots/shoes. You can see the boots pretty well at 0:58 and at 1:10. I just wonder what those boots are called, does anyone know?

If anyone is wondering about what is happening in that clip, here is some info: The man is going to sell his car and the mechanic tries to make him think the car is broken, so he can buy it for a cheap price. The mechanic tells the man to get in the car and put the handbrake on, he does it and the mechanic knocks over the paint cans, making the man think the engine broke or something. Mechanic offers the man seven marks for the car. Then his work partner walks in and the mechanic realizes the man is his work partner's father.

They almost look like old ski boots.

Yup, they are old (apparently new in that flick) ski boots. Or as we call them in Finland; Mono, plural Monot ;)
