1. A wool scarf in a really nice mossy green, my favorite color to wear.

2. A set of jewelry boxes, one the shape of a tiny dresser, with drawers, and one shaped like a trunk, and both matching my Provinicial bedroom set, in cream with gold trim.

3. A down-filled throw for my bed, that's reversible, 1 side velvety and 1 side smooth, in forest green.

4. A pretty hatbox with roses on it, that I can display as well as use for storage.

5. A black fedora that looks super cute on me! My mom knows me well.:)

I chose and received some kitchen implements....a heavy vegetable scraper, corkscrew (we broke two in two months when our friends visit,) a pepper mill (finally), a nice heavy beechwood spatula. My MIL gave me a good cheese grater and two outdoor folding chairs for the deck.

My good buddy gave me a tin of pipe 'backy.

I got to see 3 of my friends in the past 3 weeks. Was no gift from them but it's the best gift I will ever get. I don't see my friends very often. :)

Santa gave me an IPod, which I was surprised that I could figure out how to use it!

I won one (my first) a couple of weeks ago and I cannot get that thing to play. I've triple-checked everything, but it just won't work. I'm not an electronics dummy so I'm blaming it on my computer.

Besides socks and underwear (which the kids thought was a hoot, because we always threaten that's all they will get...)
my wife got me the Ultimate Superman collection.
Besides 2 or 3 versions of the first 3 movies
it includes (I think) all of the original Fleischman animated cartoons form the 40's.
My 9 year old was transfixed watching those yesterday.
Who said todays youth doesn't has no sense of value for quality.
(Oh wait... that was me.....)
