Western Conversion.....

Here's my attempt at a Conversion.
I had that Black Wool Western that I Posted in the Western thread.

I said I never wear it and I see all these threads about western conversions, so I thought I'd give it a go. All I need now is some starch/stiffener for the Brim and I'm good to go.....

Before....

After....

I went from a Brim width of almost 4" to 2 5/8".
Crown is now 4 1/2" front, and 3 1/2" back.

Nice job. I have an old 3X Stetson western that I may give a go at. Thanks for the encouragement.

It was quite easy actually, took be a little over an hour or so.
Don't think twice about it, it was fun.
I'm already keeping an eye out for a cheap Silverbelly to convert.
