Newest (old) western in the stable: it's another one I purchased because the price was so ridiculously low, I couldn’t justify letting it go. Any time I can buy a Stagecoach Collection Resistol for under $30, I’ll grab it if it’s anywhere NEAR a size I can make work on my head.

This one's an Elkhorn, a model I’ve seen for sale lots of times, but this was first time I found one priced so low. I created a retro 1920s Stetson Carlsbad last year from another Resistol, but have never been really happy with it, so I gave it a better shot on the Elkhorn. Ski-slope crease, kettle curl brim, rear-pinch on the crown, and the right (for me) hatband. I think I nailed it this time.
